Canoa Ranch

A public desert course in Southern Arizona.

I am a beginner and I got my but kicked by this course!

The greens are great. They roll well and are fairly flat.

Bring an extra sleeve or 2 of balls.

The fairways have many desert obstacles.

If you get frustrated with your game, don't worry.

The scenery is beautiful and will take your mind off that shot

you just lost in the wash.

All in all I had a great outing.

The company was good.

The golf was challenging.

The scenery was outstanding.

They also have a great restaurant.

I had been to the restaurant long before I ever golfed the course

The food was very good

The condition of the course followed the quality of the food.

Both were great!

The Havens

This course is located in Green Valley Arizona.
It is an excellent beginners course.
I consider my self a complete beginner.

The fairways are nice and wide with just a few obstacles.
If you don't have too bad of a hook or slice this is the
course for you.

There are plenty of par 4 and 5 holes and not a lot of dog legs.

Bring that driver and show off!

If you stay out of the sand traps the greens are awesome!

I dropped my first 25' putt!

There were High 5's all around.

The fees are quite reasonable in the summer time.

15.00 with a cart.

The last tee time for 18 is 2:30 or so.

I would recommend this course to anyone.
